Wertheim connects the medieval old town with the immediate natural experience. The cycle paths are famous along Tauber or Main. The same routes can also be nice for hiking. If you are going upstream

from our house on the south bank, you are immediately in the green and can go for short or long walks. After about 20 minutes walking in the Tauber’s valley you can reach a very nice and big children's playground.

In Wertheim-Bestenheid is the next outdoor pool, the next large indoor pool is “Wonnemar”, in Marktheidenfeld. In winter,

the small school bathing pool at Conrad-Wellin-Straße 6 can be used publicly at certain times. The large waters of Main and Tauber can be explored with canoes, motor boats or excursion boats.

In Wertheim-Dertingen is a climbing park and in Marktheidenfeld-Eichenfürst is an 18-hole golf course with a publicly accessible 5-hole short course, on which even beginners can play.
